Just had some work done by this firm, and was very impressed with their professionalism, approachability, politeness and cleanliness. They were happy to answer all the questions I had before I committed to using them and they were clearly very knowledgable about this kind of work. Everyone who came to the house was very polite, and there was no mess at all left after the work. I would not hesitate to use this firm again or recommend them to any friends who needed work doing.

We asked Precision to carry out an evaluation of the wooden floors in the house we were due to buy as our survey recommended this due to a possible infestation. We were given a competitive quote and told that this amount could be taken off any work carried out. Precision were helpful and flexible when arranging to carry out the evaluation, as this wasn't our house so needed sorting with the owner and estate agent. The man who carried out the evaluation identified that there no problems with the floors - only evidence of some previously treated and removed wood worm. I was fully prepared to pay for the evaluation but he wavered any payment, despite the time taken. Amazing and very honest service - I would definitely use them in the future.

I used precision for some damp proofing in my home. I had a few damp proofing companies come out and look but I found precision to be the most professional and friendly, they carried out the work and I couldn’t be happier, they where clean and tidy and their work was immaculate. My original post was for another damp proofing company with a similar name and NOT for Damp Proofing based in Sheffield who appear to be a very reliable and trustworthy company based on the reviews that I have read, I have given 5 stars due to the fact even though I have not used this company they had the decency to get in touch with me and to apologise for something that was entirely my fault and NOT theirs and that is why I have given them 5 out of 5.

Precision Plastering did plastering and damproofing work for us and did a great job. They not only made our walls smooth as anything then manages to win back a few crucial inches in our kitchen. Top Work and nice chaps too.

Had Lee plaster a kitchen after a client had been let down. At short notice Lee and his team completed the work with a quality finish. Very tidy and cleaned up after. Highly recommended.

Lee advised us about ventilation in our cellar, where we’d been using a dehumidifier for a few years, and he fitted a PIV unit in the cellar in December. It draws in fresh air from outside and circulates it in the cellar area, allowing us to switch off the dehumidifier. We also had a PIV unit fitted in the loft, to provide continuous ventilation throughout the house without having to open windows. Before the installation I was a bit worried that the unit might be noisy at night time, and that we might get a musty smell from the loft for a while. In fact the unit is noiseless (I have to put my hand near it to make sure it’s on) and the air is noticeably fresher. We’ve had no problem with window condensation since the unit was installed. The installation was carried out quickly and professionally, with the main unit out of sight in the loft, and the diffuser grille sitting neatly and unobtrusively on the landing ceiling. As the PIV units run continuously I also wondered about energy consumption but, after a month of use, there is no evidence of increased consumption.

Big thanks to Lee and Ed for quickly sorting out the damp in our basement kitchen. Lee spent time explaining the process beforehand and throughout which was really helpful, he even went through aftercare etc for when we get any future tradesmen in. I managed to get booked in really quickly and he completed the job within days. The kitchen was left spotless. 10/10 service, definitely recommend!!!
